Annual Wyman Golf Tournament Celebrates 31 Years

In August, Camp Wyman hosted its 31st Annual Wyman Golf Tournament, an event that has raised over $2.75 million for St. Louis teens, and once again, Kirberg was a principal part of the tournament's success.

Kirberg, along with American Family Insurance, Bill Voss Agency, Inc., and the South Side Lions, was a lead sponsor of this year's tournament, which netted nearly $185,000 and drew over 200 golfers to the Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles, Missouri. The funds collected at the tournament will benefit the young people in the Wyman programs, and are enough to cover the costs for an entire class of the Wyman Teen Leadership Program for one year.

Kirberg has helped Camp Wyman in its mission to serve underprivileged youth since its founding 31 years ago. With programs that foster excellence in life, work, and learning, helping disadvantaged children to learn economic self-sufficiency, leadership, and, ultimately, how to break the cycle of poverty, Camp Wyman is among the most successful youth charities in the world.

Repair Miracle Gets Business Back Up In Three Days

Out of tragedy comes opportunity. And, out of this year's Good Friday Tornado tragedy, a new partnership between Kirberg Roofing and Negwer Materials Inc. was born.

Negwer was an unfortunate victim of this year's Good Friday Tornadoes, and they suffered a great deal of damage to their buildings, including a complete loss of their largest warehouse and a total collapse of their warehouse roofs. Kirberg was on the scene immediately for emergency work, and re-roofed three of Negwer's warehouses in just two days. Kirberg provided Negwer with some much-needed access to dry storage, and in return, Negwer will help Kirberg by providing high-quality, lower-cost materials for their projects.

This special partnership will help both Kirberg and Negwer provide their clients with cost-effective products and services. Both businesses are local, and Negwer's services go far beyond those of a traditional building materials supplier.
