The winning project in 2006 required Kirberg and an affiliated contractor to overcome significant challenges including a dramatically steep-sloped, 33,600 square-foot roof in an occupied commercial building in downtown St. Louis, overnight hours and harsh winter weather. At project's end, Kirberg's team had achieved a zero-accident, zero-incident build ahead of schedule and on budget.
